Races, Realms and Realities: The Legacy of Man’s Higher Thinking
The higher levels supersede the lower levels in everything and in all things, much like the higher levels of thinking are superior to the lower levels of thought. Similarly, the higher man can be said to be superior to the lower man.
In our modern world, we have the white race and the black race. In times past, the white race was held as superior due to the planes of thought in which their minds resonated, while the black race was seen as inferior. Just a few decades back, the black race was deeply rooted in culture and superstition. However, while many of the black race’s beliefs might have appeared inferior to the white race, they were real and valid to the black race.
In fact, while the whites were focused on developing their minds and their territories—colonizing new lands and subjugating their inhabitants—the blacks were living a life of culture and beliefs handed down by their ancestors. Superiority and inferiority were therefore affirmed by the visible results around, and because the blacks were willing to sell their own kind in exchange for material goods, they effectively sold themselves to the superior-inferior complex. It’s noteworthy that the Egyptians were early adopters and promoters of civilization, which in the 21st century has become the stronghold of the white race. However, in the 21st century, the black race is not left out of civilization. While they may not entirely be on the same exact level as the white race in terms of development index, they are not so far off either.
The Genesis of These Levels of Thinking
How did these levels of thinking come to be in the first place? The Bible, a compilation of books written by spirit-inspired men and women—realistically, men and women who were higher-ordered in thoughts and thinking—reveals the genesis of these patterns.
In literal terms, the story of Adam and Eve being tempted by a snake actually demonstrates how inferior-level thinking overcame higher-ordered thinking. Adam and Eve weren’t the only humans on earth, but they were the first created in God’s exact likeness, with the singular purpose of expanding God’s essence on earth. Other humans existed with different purposes aside from Adam and Eve. These differing purposes weren’t necessarily defined as either good or evil, but God did ensure that Adam and Eve became aware of the possibility of these purposes, especially since both were possibilities. If Adam and Eve didn’t stick to their path and veered off course, they could enter a path that didn’t pursue only good but both good and evil. There would have been no need for a warning if these realities didn’t already exist on the earth.
Another reality that existed was the immortal life, which Adam and Eve didn’t get to experience, though they did experience length of life. Both good and evil are revealed by their works. A living soul cannot define which is which—he only sees the sentiments, and even a sympathetic sentiment can hide evil purposes. In fact, individually, one might not be aware of his or her propensity toward evil, because this knowing cannot be known either in the soul or the physical form.
One can only know his true standing when his spiritual state is revealed—and this spirit knowing only came when Jesus came to earth and resurrected.
The other humans who existed with their own purposes had contact with Adam and Eve, and those humans—who were outwardly close to Adam and Eve in purpose—convinced Eve that their partnership would further propagate their personal purposes and wouldn’t hinder God’s purposes if they consummated the relationship. The relationship was consummated. Man always has and will always have his purposes. Most times, no matter how congruent these purposes are with God’s purposes, they are simply not the same. God’s purposes and man’s purposes may start at the same point but never lead to the same ends, since man can independently make decisions of his own will.
The relationship Eve consummated with these other humans resulted in an offspring—Cain. Eve, after entering into a new earthly dimension from the one put in place by God, experienced all the emotions and returned to Adam, who was now emotionally alone since Eve had strayed. This knowledge took its toll on Adam, and he too sought solace in these humans and consummated with the one he corresponded with most. Afterward, Adam and Eve began to feel and be like every other human on earth, and from that moment, they began to seek their own purposes.
Since they left the path that was naturally blessed, they entered a world where personal sentiments had more say than blessings. Adam was to toil and feed by his own sentiments. Nature, which had usually aided Adam and Eve, now became indifferent. Since they chose their own ways, they would have to rely on their sweat and strength to achieve the same tasks they had done effortlessly before. The humans who convinced them to give in would never attain that superior order of thinking but would remain eternally inferior and earthly in their mindset. The offspring of Eve would always be in conflict with the earthly, base thinking of humans because they once knew the higher-ordered way of thinking.
The serpent's entire body crawls on the bare earth; the serpent’s thinking was too natural and too earthly. Whoever followed that thinking would have his thoughts similarly base and earthly. The humans who convinced Eve and with whom Adam sought solace operated at that level of thinking.
Adam and Eve realized in their realities that man alone is capable of much evil without God—not because he wills to do evil, but because he isn’t thoughtful enough, spiritual enough, or emotionally, mentally, and physically strong enough to overcome evil. It was absolutely God’s place to overcome. They remained spouses and produced offspring, including Abel. Cain’s bloodline, however, conflicted with Abel’s. Cain’s earthy thinking showed in his natural inclination toward things that grew from the earth—plants that were not at the level of four-footed animals, which Abel was predisposed to. The state of emotions Cain was privy to made him see Abel in a different light than how brothers should see each other. This led to the first murder. It also showed that evil actions and results have their roots not in reality but within—in a place beyond the living soul. If man submits to these drivers within, they usually lead to evil actions. However, evil actions are self-destructive on the realistic plane.
God’s plan was to increase the material aspects of man—and that only happens by goodness within. This is why every action built on righteousness is never destroyed but only multiplies on earth. Evil actions, on the other hand, are self-destructive because the earth doesn’t operate by evil but by good. Who, then, is the loser? Man is. Man’s evil actions cut short his legacy. Man’s good actions prolong his legacy and his name.
That was how Adam and Eve became like every other human. However, some of their offspring—though not entirely free from the consequences of their ancestors’ actions—still encountered God. Their actions were good, and so they were well established. Many animals today exist because of the good actions of Noah. Many evil acts have disappeared, as well as those who committed them, because the earth is already programmed in a particular way—the good enjoy this reality.
If the adversary triumphs, it’s because a man didn’t get to see his actions become established by virtue of the evil within prevailing. The limitation of the living soul created a need for the quickened spirit. By the quickened spirit, man had the opportunity to improve his personal arsenal to overcome the evils within. In overcoming the evils within by the quickened spirit, man can always attain the absolute goodness of the living soul, and his works on earth can be in perfect sync with the Creator.
The Evolving State of Man
Man has gone through different phases in his evolving state and is still evolving. It is a personal journey first, before it becomes collective. If most men in a race have transcended barbaric ways of thinking, then the collective will reflect that.
There’s nothing on earth worth dying for, because everything on earth is the final result of what begins within. However, the martyrs who died promoting the works of the spirit-quickened Jesus did so because they were promoting a new insight unknown to the world. They died to keep a truth going, and that’s the effect a truth can spark.
Every good sacrifice has been to ensure that man doesn’t give in to evil. Evil is self-destructive and ends a man’s legacy prematurely. It’s not easy to be a man because a man is the chief of the earth—the one to whom God entrusted the business of the earth. Even the adversary knows this, that's why when a man’s legacy is cut off by evil, he loses, and the purposes of God are impacted.
